Welcome to the Night Site! This site is aimed at amateur astronomers, star gazers and the general public. The Sky this Month pages show current sky chart for this month. Along with planetary, lunar details and meteor showers. Aswell as other things you might want to keep an eye out for. The Gallery, is now on hold due to the other partner site closing, and myself not having enough time to update it, you can still go look at the pictures! But it's doubtful any new images will be added. |
The Asked Questions will answer some of the questions I get sent in to me, and allows you to ask a question of your own.
The For Beginners section is starting to take shape, aimed at teaching the basics of navigating around the sky, observing techniques and with the Glossary of frequently used terminology section aswell, should compliment any newbies who are looking for information on what to do and what's out there to be seen!

Site News: Site is on hold, as you've noticed over the last year or so updates have been few and far between (not a very good way to run a site) and with other projects going on at the moment, my time for this is extremely limited, and so have decided to announce that no further updates will be made for the foreseeable future. If someone wants to take over the responsibility of maintaining the site you are more then welcome, contact me on the e-mail address above if you're interested.
Thanks to all the people that sent me e-mails of encouragement in over the years, helped me keep going for as long as I did. :-)
